Give Time or Items
Thank you for your interest in helping make An Evening of Wine 2011 a successful and exciting evening. Donating time, auction items or money will help ensure the fundraiser contributes the most resources possible in support of our mission to predict, prevent, treat and ultimately cure diabetes. Here's how you can help:
Donate Time
Volunteers are an essential part of the event's success each year. There are several ways to participate:
- Help us prepare in the weeks before the event: We will have four Volunteer Wednesday Evenings where we'll assemble packets, mail invitations, create centerpieces, etc. Additionally, the week before the event, we have many volunteer duties in the office, including boxing up auction items, making nametags, preparing displays, etc. Be part of a lively group!
- Volunteer at the event: Be a part of the fun! Help us with registration and check-out, packing items and, if you have a Class 12 permit, pouring wine!

Donate Items
The live and silent auctions feature wonderful items -- many are wine-related but travel, pampering and experiences are also very welcome. The generosity of individuals and organizations in our community help make this auction a success. If you would like to donate an item to An Evening of Wine 2011, please contact Becky Bruhn at events@pndri.org or 206-568-1489.
Donate Money
Fund-a-Need is your opportunity to make the greatest difference in supporting PNDRI's mission to predict, prevent, treat and ultimately cure diabetes and its complications. If you are not able to attend An Evening of Wine, please call 206-726-1200 to make your Fund-a-Need gift today—it will be counted toward the evening's total fundraising goal.
