WRISG Meeting
PNDRI will host the annual Western Region Islet Study Group (WRISG) meeting at Pack Forest Conference Center, an hour's drive from Seattle, Washington beginning on Friday, May 25th and ending Sunday, May 27th, 2012.
Seminar Series
PNDRI invites top diabetologists and diabetes researchers from around the world to share findings and insights from their respective bodies of work during this popular event series. Sessions routinely spark lively scientific discussion among attendees.

Conversations About Diabetes
Diabetes is just now being fully recognized as the calamitous challenge it is. The sooner the global community understands the disease and its complications -- in terms of both human suffering and dollars spent -- the sooner measures can be implemented to help contain its alarming trajectory.
Heightening public awareness and increasing what is known about diabetes is one of the fundamental goals of these informal events. Topics are addressed from a broader community perspective and highlight the most relevant issues in disease research and treatment.
