The Chief Advancement Officer, an energetic, data-driven fundraising strategist, will have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to build PNRI’s next phase of transformative growth. PNRI seeks a leader to focus on building and strengthening their individual giving programs, particularly in growing their annual, major and planned gifts. Reporting to the President & CEO, the Chief Advancement Officer will be responsible for planning and leading all aspects of PNRI’s integrated advancement programs and a talented team of advancement professionals, including a Director of Communications and an Assistant Director of Development. This position is based in Seattle with flexibility to work remotely as necessary.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must bring a passionate, enthusiastic commitment to PNRI’s mission and work, along with the following:
- At least seven to ten years of experience building successful advancement programs, with a proven record of soliciting significant annual, major, principal and planned gifts
- Proven achievement in successful solicitation of five and six-figure major gifts
- Proven ability to recruit, supervise, motivate and retain a team that strives to achieve and exceed goals
- Capacity to acquire an understanding of PNRI’s work in science and research, and to translate this work into attractive reasons to give funding support
