Special Events Coordinator

Pacific Northwest Research Institute (PNRI) is seeking a Special Events Coordinator for a temporary, five-month, full-time position from May through mid-October 2019. This position’s primary purpose is to provide event support with data-entry, registration, and general coordination support for PNRI’s 16th annual An Evening of Wine fundraising event.

The successful candidate will be well-organized and a team player with a high level of work integrity and ethical standards. Must be a self-starter with focused attention to detail, flexibility, a customer service mindset, and a desire to learn and take on new assignments. Interest in learning more about nonprofit fundraising is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or three years of experience in administrative support, overseeing and executing office operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as an event coordinator, in a nonprofit fundraising organization preferred.
  • Experience with database software — The Raiser’s Edge, Greater Giving, Convio, Auction Tracker, or related fundraising software preferred.
